Vegetable Lovers

1 can        (40.5 oz.) kidney
beans
1 can        creamed corn
1 can        diced tomatoes
1 cup        shredded carrot
1 can        peas
1 teaspoon        garlic
1 pinch        cumin
1/2 tablespoon        olive oil
 supplements as desired
•        Rinse beans and peas.
•        Mix all ingredients in a
large bowl.
•        Serve with whole wheat
bread or tortillas, if desired.
Beef Stew - without Beef!
Try this recipe in a crock pot!

2 cups        large TVP chunks
2         bay leaves
2         celery stalks, chopped
4         carrots, cut into small rounds
1 cup        cabbage, chopped or
shredded
1 can        canned tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon        oregano
1 tablespoon        Worcestershire
sauce
1 tablespoon        basil
1 teaspoon        vegetable broth
powder
1 tablespoon        nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon        calcium powder
1/2 teaspoon        kelp powder
1/2 tablespoon        soy lecithin
 water
•        Throw everything into your crock
pot, add enough water to cover
everything, turn it on low, and leave for
work.
•        hen you get home, let it cool a
little and you have a hot meal for your
dog.
Vegetables - Grilled

Who loves to eat al fresca more than a dog?
1 clove        garlic, minced
2-3 tablespoons        olive oil
1         red or green pepper, sliced
1         eggplant, sliced
1         squash, peeled and sliced
1         sweet potato, sliced
1 ear        fresh corn
1         large white potato, sliced
1 can        navy beans
•        In a small bowl, mix garlic and olive oil
before slicing veggies.
•        Heat grill.
•        Brush each vegetable slice and the ear
of corn with olive oil mixture, till coated.
•        Wrap corn in foil.
•        Wrap potato pieces separately in foil.
•        Grill all veggies, except for the beans,
until done (tender, with nice pretty grill lines).
•        When cooled, mix with navy beans and
serve.
How about Barbecue?

1 pound        dried beans of your
choice
1 cup        tvp
2 tablespoons        olive oil
1 clove        garlic, minced
8 ounces        tomato sauce or
crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon        apple cider
vinegar
2 tablespoons        
Worcestershire sauce
2         bay leaves
1 cup        vegetable broth
2 tablespoons        fresh parsley,
chopped
1 brick        frozen peas and
carrots
1 cup        baby okra
3 cups        water
•        Place all ingredients into a
slow cooker and cook on low or
"auto" until beans are tender
(about 6 hours).
•        Serve with brown rice,
canine corn bread, or a whole
wheat biscuit.
Home Made Doggy Treats

1 package        active dry yeast
1/4 cup        warm water
2 cups        vegetable stock
2 tablespoons        premium extra virgin olive
oil
1/2 cup        nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons        dried parsley
1 teaspoon        oregano
2 teaspoons        minced, dried, or granulated
garlic
2 cups        whole wheat flour
1 cup        cracked wheat
•        Dissolve yeast in warm water.
•        In a large bowl, combine everything
except flour and wheat. Stir.
•        Now add the flour and wheat, creating a
stiff dough.
•        Knead till smooth.
•        Roll onto a floured surface.
•        Cut with cookie cutters.
•        Bake at 325 degrees till crisp.
Liver Excellance!

•        1 lb. beef liver
•        2 cups beef bouillon
•        1 tsp. garlic powder
•        1 16-oz. container plain yogurt

•        Cut liver into chunks. Cover with
bouillon and simmer until completely
cooked; drain. Put liver and remaining
ingredients in food processor. Blend until
smooth. If necessary, add reserved bouillon
or water to achieve desired consistency.
Refrigerate immediately. Use within 3-4
days. Serve with raw carrots, celery, or pieces
of dog biscuits. Alternately, use to stuff
cooked marrow bones.

•        1/4 Cup Cottage Cheese
•        Vitamin E 1001 IU
•        1/4 Teaspoon Garlic
Powder
•        1 Tbsp Bacon Grease
Dog Food Recipe Directions:
.Mix all the ingredients and add
to food daily.

•        Any dog safe leftovers
•        2 eggs
•        milk (as much as your dog prefers)
•        dog food (you won't need too much )
Dog Food Recipe Directions:
Cut up leftovers into pieces. Be sure there
are no tiny bones. Use as much as you want.
Mix in two raw eggs. Poor in milk. Use as
much as you want. Mix together, and heat in
microwave for 20-30 sec. ( or serve cold )
Poor over dog food.
Oatmeal Cookies

•        2 cups rice 2 packages Reg. Flavor
oatmeal (mixed w/milk)
•        1/4 cup molasses
•        1 cup carrots
•        1/3 cup spinach
•        1 1/4 cup flour
•        1/2 tbsp brown gravy mix
•        4 tbsp applesauce
•        1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
