What of the child born in a third world country to alcoholic
parents who sees nothing but violence and anger. He grows
up to adopt the only tools he has ever learned from his
parents and dies in a hold up attempt at a local store. This
kid would no more know who Jesus was than Mark twain.
What a sucky sucky lifetime that was! But then again,
sometimes trees may have a bad year too?
Common sense tells me that this kid is in a cycle of spiritual
improvement that will take him though many experiences on
earth and with many people. If someone tells me that God
has said, you have a choice of heaven or hell and this kid
obviously chose hell, then I would tell you that your idea of
God and mine are two very different things!
How can an oak tree grow to 100 foot in one season? How
can a human grow to their potential in one lifetime? Why
would God give you common sense then ask you to ignore it?
Why has society allowed the organizations of this world to tell
us that our connection to God will come from only one
source, one book or one person? Who the hell threw out the
only tool we ever had for spiritual growth? It was and is, only
common sense.
Personally I’ve read the whole bible and some. I’ve read
some of the Koran, and hundreds of other books. In all these
texts I have read things that do pass my common sense filter.
Truth rings true. And I memorized much of the bible, the
parts that ring true and pass my common sense filter. But I
will not quote those here, not in any of my articles on the site.
I want you to see the value of using your own God given
sense … common sense.
You only live once sinner, don’t screw it up!
