Is December 2012 going to be Doomsday 2012?
Well, yes and no ...
Certianly as this date approaches there will be the "end of the
world" preachers and cults springing up all around the world.
The media will surely get behind that with both feet running.
Seems our society will do this with a passing comet or millennium

In its most simple terms, what is the deal with December 2012 and the Mayan Calendar?
This will be the simplified version as the actual description is very complicated. However we will provide you
with a link to the scientific explanation as well.
In short, the Mayan Calendar is a 3 part calendar. One part is a religious calendar that is broken into 260 days. (20
weeks of 13 days) Next there is the solar calendar that represents 365 days similar to our own calendar. Myan

What can I do to make the transition of 2012 as easy as possible?
Of course this is a decision that everyone will have to make for themselves. Without giving value to "doomsday"
and "the sky is falling" type of mentality, I prefer to focus only on what we know about the surrounding conditions

How could the Mayans have such advanced knowledge and also be so horrifc?
Clearly the Mayans had advanced knowledge of astronomy as the alignment of the pyrimids indicated as well as
the functionality of the Calendar they created. They shared a pagan type of spirituality as did the egyptions, and
shared beliefs of life after death.
Considoring they lived in the middle of a jungle, the arcitectual feats they accomplished and city templates are
astounding.
Yet its no secrect that the Mayans slaughtered hundreds of thousands

middle ages christans who burned people at the stake for being unusal or strange. Or with Muslems who would kill
thier women for almost any reason at all in the name of Ala.
At any rate the Roman Catholic church burned or destroyed most of the records from the Mayans as they deemed
the material to be from the devil . Just the little bit of information that has been saved is chock full of information
and yes, much "advanced" knowledge. Many theories abound to the fact that some of the Mayan Gods may have
been Aliens. Many of the pictographs and statutes do resemble those of our alien descriptions. They certianly do
not look Mayan in nature at all. It is speculated this is where they got their advanced knowledge of the Universe,
while basically being a stone age village.
Those were just the times of the world then. It was the basis of a type of common social consciousness that
honored and respected sacrifice, and very gory sacrifice at that. Thank goodness the world has evolved since then,
and hopefully we will have the chance to keep evolving.
It is truly a mystery how the Aztec's were able to create such wonders of the time, as did the Egyptians. It is clear
that they were privy to information that was beyond their own time. Perhaps they were able to acquire that
information in ways that we just could not understand as we do not "worship" in the ways that they did in
becoming "one" with earth and spirit. It is truly an interesting culture, but not one that I would have wanted to live
