Falling dreams are surly very scary and if you are reading this you are most likely
having a recurring dream about falling lately. Usually falling dreams happen more
than just one off night of maybe eating more than you should have.
These dreams are recurring because you have been feeling very strongly during this
time, feeling insecure about something that is taking much of your time and
emotional energy. The repeating nature of this is because all this energy being spent
in worrying about something has become programmed into your subconscious mind.
There really is no better way for your subconscious mind to convey this feeling than
through the symbolic feeling of falling through space. This is of course an instinctive
feeling of fear and helplessness.
Do not perceive this dream as any premonition of for coming doom or disaster. It
simply is what it is, a symbolic representation of your strongest feelings lately that
have concerned you. Often times within the dream are many clues that can enlighten
you on how to resolve the situation. Many times the situation that is causing the
falling dream may manifest in some type of monster or criminal that may chase you
into the situation where you will fall off something. Some times you may dream of
being on some high precarious building or structure where you are very afraid and
feel as you could fall off at any time. The actual falling or fear of falling is always the
representation of the fear and insecurity you are feeling in your awake state.
You may have a very conscious idea of what this situation is in your waking state, or
it could be that you actually do not know. But I assure you that if you are having one
of these dreams, there is something that is concerning you on a deep level. You must
investigate the meaning of this dream, so that you can apply some of the
understanding to your awake conscious awareness of the situation that is causing it.
Analyze the dream section by section. If something is chasing you, what is it? Think
of this thing as a symbolic representation of your fear. Is it an animal, a person, a
monster? In your waking state what would this thing cause you to feel? What is the
symbolic meaning here? It is your symbol, and only you can provide the best
possible meaning of this.
What about the location of the dream? Is it a real place or a fictional place? How does
this place make you feel? What could this place be symbolic of in your waking state?
In breaking down all elements of the dream in this fashion you will be able to really
understand the feelings and meaning of the dream. In this way you bring the situation
into your conscious mind fully which will allow you to receive some deeper meaning
that will help you move though this spell of insecurity that you are presently feeling.
